The one-person AI business system — running six functions alone
The problem
You are the founder. This week you did sales because a customer called, and you did operations because something broke. You did no marketing, no finance review and no supplier management, because nobody chased you for them.
The workflow
1Write the context block
2Assign function roles
3Build one prompt each
4Fix the weekly slots
5Run for four weeks
6Cut what does not help
7Deepen what does
★Review quarterly
What you need
Business: 8-person kitchenware D2C brand, Jaipur, ₹1.4 crore, selling on Amazon, Flipkart and own site. Hours protectable: 4/week.
The tool
One assistant, used consistently
The prompt
Subscribers. The full prompt is part of the SMEMinds AI Playbook. See plans.
What comes back
1. WEEKLY RHYTHM — 4 hours Monday 7.30–8.00 (30 min) — Numbers.
Verify before you use it
Human review required. Check every line below before this leaves your screen.
- Four hours is the stated capacity. If the real figure is two, redesign — a rhythm you cannot follow is worse than none.
- Check that the Monday slot genuinely catches both past failures. Reorder points must actually be defined for the stock check to mean anything (Lesson 9.6).
- The minimum viable versions are the part that matters. Write them somewhere visible, because you will need them.
- Confirm the early-morning slots are genuinely protectable. A rhythm built on hours you do not control fails in week two.
